Each summer, Family Giving Tree works with the community to provide backpacks and school supplies to students in the Bay Area. These partnerships mean there are public events on the calendar that you can attend!
July 12th - GOTTCON - Game on the Table Convention
The San Jose Scottish Rite Center, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 2455 Masonic Drive, San Jose
Board games, RPGs, minis, a flea market, painting demos—you name it. Attendees are encouraged to donate school supplies or filled backpacks.

July 22nd - School Supply Collection Drive with NBC Bay Area and Alpha Media
Milpitas Walmart. 4:00 - 7:00 PM, 301 McCarthy Ranch Road, Milpitas

Westgate Center Mall, 4:00 - 7:00 PM, 1600 Saratoga Ave, San Jose
July 24th - School Supply Collection Drive with NBC Bay Area and Alpha Media
Livermore Walmart, 4:00 - 7:00 PM, 2700 Las Positas Rd, Livermore
Come on down and donate new school supplies and backpacks, and have a chance to win fabulous tickets to local sporting events and other items. Meet the folks from NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48, plus enjoy music provided by the radio stations of Alpha Media.
Don't want to bring a donation but would rather shop for supplies instead? We've got you covered. We'll give you one of our supply list/guideline sheets, you can then shop and drop them on your way out.
All donations support NBC Bay Area's "Supporting Our Schools" initiative, in partnership with Family Giving Tree's Back-to-School Drive.
